We designed our rooms with the Inn’s past and respect for history in mind.
Each of our six characterful bedrooms are designed with a nod to the printing world’s influences. Unique antiques and locally crafted furnishings were sourced to create a home-away-from home, with cotton bath robes and towels, as well as mattresses, toppers and pillows, which we hope you will enjoy...
COSY
As the name suggests, our smaller room is perfect for couples or singles, offering a cosy atmosphere.
The room combines an excellent mattress, mattress topper, sumptuous bed linen, feather pillows and Oast & Rye toiletries
CLASSIC
Our Classic rooms are located at the front of the Inn. The interiors are a combination of bespoke and standalone furniture, king sized beds and comfortable sprung mattresses, bed linen and feather pillows. Bathrooms are well stocked with Oast & Rye toiletries
SPACIOUS
Our larger rooms are located in the oldest part of this 16th century Inn and overlook West Cross or
across the pitched roofs of some of Tenterden’s older houses. Each room has King size beds providing
the utmost comfort, sprung mattresses, bed linen and feather pillows. Bathrooms have large walk in
showers and are well stocked with Oast & Rye toiletries
THE AUTHOR'S SUITE
With low beamed ceiling and striking architecture, The Author’s Suite ’s is located in the oldest part of
our historic 15th century Inn, featuring an inglenook fireplace with a wood burning stove, sumptuous
emperor sized bed, copper bath and Oast & Rye toiletries.

From our monthly music afternoon and nights to seasonal festivities, we’ve got lots going on. You can
also sign up for floristry workshops, enjoy restorative Spa treatments, wine tours with local vineyards,
golf at Tenterden Golf Club or Charthills, Clay Pigeon Shooting, Electric Bike tours with Headcorn Bikes.
